In addition to all of his other accomplishments, Mark Wood is an innovative and versatile composer who has received national recognition by the television industry in the form of an Emmy award for his outstanding work on the Tour de France bicycle race broadcast on CBS-TV. He has been nominated for an Emmy three times in total; the first for an ABC-TV documentary, the second for the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics on CBS-TV, and ultimately his win for the Tour de France on CBS-TV. With a background as diverse as his, Mark Woods compositional style encompasses a wide range of music for television and film projects.
